My Mother is a Green cardholder. She has been in the US for 30 years but has never worked in the States. Basic medical coverage is provided by the Military since I am a retired veteran. However, the Military will change the policy soon, so I am seeking other solutions. I was told she could buy Medicare if she did not work in the US. Is that true?
